Went here for some breakfast... food was great and the cakes were amazing!! 5* to the generous portion of chocolate fudge cake!They keep all of the cakes in the fridge on display. It was quite busy in here when we went, nice atmosphere though. My only issue is that they only accept cash. I feel it is inconvenient and unsual for a cafe/restaurant not to accept - if anything it will only discourage people from walking in the door if they have no cash... especially when the food and staff are so nice.
Turned away at the door here today by very rude staff who told us we couldn't come in as we had a pram. They can only accommodate two prams here. I wonder if they be able to do this to a wheel chair user? 70% of tables were empty. Not very child friendly. Such a shame as ive been brought here for years with my own grandparents. Will not return.
I go here for breakfast fairly regularly on Saturday mornings. The services is always excellent the food hot and good. The tea is proper leaf tea and they provide extra hot water, always a good sign. Just be aware they only take cash.
Lovely little caf, amazing service!! They did my daughter's milkshake before we even ordered! Everyone was lovely & kind. They overheard my daughter saying she wanted a milkshake & got straight on to it. It's cash only & very tucked away, but it was perfect.
This was quite a good little cafe to visit for breakfast after waking up with a hangover. Plenty of choice on the menu and service was pretty speedy and the food was good. Only downside was that I think it's cash only, which I have to knock off a point for. Would go back though.
