Family caravan site in a great location in Caton near Lancaster. With the Crook O Lune picnic site just down the road, which is a fantastic place to walk along or spend the day next to the river, dont forget your picnic. The Scarthwaite Hotel with restaurant and bar as you enter is a nice place to grab a snack or meal. The staff on the site are all really pleasant and helpful. Makrs for a really tranquil and relaxing holiday spot.
I planted a Rowan Tree for my late husband at the crook-o-lune memorial forest. It was the aniversary of his passing today so had a visit to plant bulbs and lay flowers. i couldn't have asked for a more scenic place to visit, in memory of him. My Mother and father have a tree also. Reunited once more.
Great place, beautiful scenery, good food at woodies food bar, good value too. Great walks too.

The park is in a very pretty location. There are loads of picturesque walks adjacent to the park.The staff are friendly and helpful and the fans are immaculate.It's a nice quiet site in an idilic setting.We love it there.
