Excellent museum and the staff were very helpful.
For a free entry museum, nothing to really complain about. It gives you a very good in-depth look at life around the local area and is relatively contemporary too.
Very good musem. There is lots to see, so prepare to spend a good few hours here, if you like history.
I was visiting Lancaster and since it was raining outside (not highly unusual...) went to check the museum. It turned out to be extremely interesting, displaying the history of Lancaster area with some fascinating details to keep me in for a few hours, easily long enough for the rain to have stopped by the time I got out.
