Fine old church well worth a visit
Just off city centre, in between Morecambe and Lancaster. Very spacious great for dog walking or running as very flat.
Great little park for walking dogs, taking my three year old son on a bike ride, conker picking or for general exercise walking around. Plenty of car parking spaces. Plenty of football pitches. A play park for children with sand pit, slides, swings, and climbing frames. A well looked after council owned park.
I walk our German Shepherd round the park when visiting. Big park, lots of space for children and dogs to run around. Unfortunately there are a very small minority of dog owners who do not collect their dogs poo. It spoils the fun a wee bit as instead of enjoying the views and space, we have to look where we are going.
Large park ... That's about it. Not in the most luxurious of places but it's a good place for dog walking, providing the owners pick up the bum nuggets
