Traveled to this vet after finding out the vet who would be seeing us at our local surgery was one we don't like - he's very rough and cold with the animals.We took our newly adopted & very sick hedgehog to Bay Vets and they were fantastic - not only can you clearly see this is a surgery that cares about people's pets (the waiting room is split into small sections for cats, dogs & rabbits; blankets provided to cover carriers etc) but the vet we saw was wonderful.She was gentle with our hedgehog and knew what she was talking about, she also handled him as little as possible as he was already ill and stressed. Also found this vet to be cheaper than our local surgery - just wish it was closer to us as we don't drive!
