Bought something that's going to last a lifetime, sitting Beautifully in the front room (pride of place now) staff were friendly and extremely helpful! Had the time to look after you and talk to you (even though they were extremely busy) provide excellent customer service and even deleivered so that we weren't in any danger of damaging going back through the busy town centre, 5* for us!
My experience of Bellwood & Wright has been excellent. Sarah is so friendly and helpful, always willing to give time to advise without any suggestion of a 'hard sell'. The service I've received has been absolutely fantastic.
I have previously bought items from Bellwood and Wright but I will never go into that shop again. Having telephoned to ask for advice regarding a new artist exhibiting work, I was appalled when the unfriendly female owner hung up on me. It was incredibly rude and her customer service skills were disgraceful. I felt it acceptable to ask an established gallery for advice and for them to provide it, even if a customer is with her she could then have suggested I call back in 10 minutes, but putting the phone down on me was completely unhelpful and obviously very unsupportive to new local artists. What a shameful lack of care and human decency.
Some lovely stuff in there. bought my girlfriend an aztec gold and turquoise bracelet which was gorgeous. However, the first time she wore it it broke. I posted it back to the shop and they took over TWO MONTHS to fix a simple clasp issue. As soon as we got the bracelet back my girlfriend wore it again and the same thing happened almost immediately as the clasp snapped. When I spoke to the people at Belwood and Wright they refused to take the bracelet back again as it had been bought a while ago (because of their ineffectuality the first time it needed fixing). If you want good service buy from elsewhere even though they have some nice things!
