Absolutely beautiful and scenic. Great place for a romantic walk with a partner or solo 'clear your head' escape. A challenging running route too. Just perfect
Wow. A proper park with lots of paths (tarmac and trail) to walk or run round. Trees, water, grass what more could you want to enjoy a relaxing couple of hours. Oh and the monument as well, well worth walking up to it to get some great views.
Beautiful, peaceful park atop a hill. Spacious walking paths and plenty of green grass to let the dogs run free. The memorial is most beautiful near sunset with the play of colours on the building. Parking requires you to pay if you wish to stop on the park grounds.
A beautiful park, located a top a rather large hill, it's well worth the walk up, especially on a sunny days as the view from the observation tower is breathtaking. There is also a butterfly house in the grounds which I would recommend taking a look at. As well as a child's play area playing fields and a cafe. Give yourself a few hours as this park contains a few hidden gems.
Needed somewhere to walk our dog prior to Hospital appointment. Googled Williamson Park. And what a find? Lovely spacious park and fabulous tea rooms, one of the best cappuccino's we've had and home made apple tarts. Amazing.
