Did an amazing job looking after my mother after her heart attack. The cardiology ward are brilliant. They can just be a little too overly cautious sometimes and kept my mother in longer than we all thought necessary. Better to be safe than sorry though. A&E are slow to get through as expected, the ambulatory care unit has some lovely staff members. Everyone's always helpful, friendly and kind all over the hospital
Attended the acute surgical ward at RLI on Friday morning with an obstructed hernia which was seriously making my eyes water with the amount of pain that accompanied it. Examined, scanned and held in overnight and all the time treated with total professionalism and genuine compassion from every member of staff that I had contact with.Operation to repair the hernia at 0945 this morning and clear of the theatre by 1145. Once again, total professionalism by caring staff who took time to explain everything they were doing and who very obviously had my best interests at heart. What a great bunch of folks.Discharged from the hospital at 1630 today and feeling fantastic with hernia all sorted. From the time the ambulance request was made until I left the ward today I have experienced the very best of service and support from all the personnel involved and leaving 5 stars as a review just seems so insignificant.I appreciate that everything can be improved but this was a truly excellent, joined-up service from start to finish. Well done and thank you all.
Thank you to everyone involved with looking after Flora - our 2 year old today.
Was informed needed a knee operation in March which was cancelled due to high blood sugars .I was informed that not to worry as it would go ahead once my blood sugars were normal .As it's November and blood sugars been normal for 6 months soon I feel lied to ! Tried to complain as they seem to be diabetic dumping but got nowhere .I am going abroad after booking it 8 months ago and can't get insurance as I am on a waiting list or am I as it got lost so many times.I will have no insurance for the holiday as I believed them ! . The staff are all wonderful but the care of a 4th generation diabetic is terrible . Get your act together as there will be more of us out there !
Just need to say a huge thank you to all staff on the elderly frailty ward. The care and attention given to mum (now passed) and kindness shown to family was much appreciated. In particular Fran who took time to speak to dad, thanks again xxx In memory of mum (Marjorie Ford) RIP
