Impossible to get an appointment via phone. If you do (by some miracle) manage to get through, you then get asked 1000 questions by a Receptionist before you are deemed ill enough to be granted an appointment, which could be anywhere between Lancaster & Morecambe.
Absolutely ridiculous.Can't get through on phones to make an appointment. (being trying for 45 mins now, as I am writing this review)patient access isn't working to make appointment.Was a fantastic surgery until the 'merger'.Our whole family has been a patient here, me, my mother, her mother.My mum booked a diabetic foot examination, they forgot to mention it was at the GALGATE med centre. Now my mum is in her 80's and doesn't drive, how is she supposed to get there. Never mind the fact she wasn't told it would not be at Dalton square Surgery.
Receptionists are rude and unhelpful I book to see doctor not to explain my life medical history to the receptionist before they get me an appointment but once I see the doctor he's great.
You can always get an appointment and they are really well organised so prescriptions are always on time and there is never a problem. They are flexible, knowledgeable and super helpful.
Great Dr's surgery. Able to book appointments online. Good access to same day appointments when needed. Unfortunately no access for prams therefore these must be left outside but are able to be left undercover.
