The first time I used this shop was to have a watch battery changed .it took over a week .its had to be sent away .? Why ? Surely a jeweler should be able to do this himself It wasn't a specialised make . I have taken a watch bought on my honeymoon to another jewelers in lancaster .it had cost over 500 so I felt I should use a specialised jeweler .he changed the battery in 15 mins .my recent experience was when I took 2 rings to be cleaned .the lady on the front desk was lovely but she took the rings to the back room to another woman who very rudely in my opinion commented (she could both see and hear me ) that one of the rings was cheap gold. However I agreed that they could clean the rings .this time although promised they would be back in 7 days it took over 2 weeks and cost 70. Never again .As an add on to this after having the rings back after being cleaned one of the rings kept catching on the bedding which it had never done prior to cleaning .a couple of weeks later 2 of the diamonds fell out. Luckily we had an extended warranty on my wedding ring and so at the moment it is being repaired at a cost of 120 . I'll never use this jewellers again .lesson learnt !!!

took a classic gold 18 ct omega watch in to sell,i had an idea of what it was worth and asked them if they would consider buying it.They made me a really nice offer first time, more than i expected. it was the sixth jewellers i visited and seemed to get fobbed off by the rest. a few people said they would give me the value of gold which was about 30% of what cunngingham's offered me.all along i was just looking for an honest jewellers that would give me a fair price and i found it with cunninghams . a five star rating off me!
I took my solid gold watch in for repair, charged 65 for it. I was told that I need a new movement for it as the hands had fallen off... twice. The inside face is scratched and scraped so when you look at the face, parts of it shine. It is an absolute mess. The jeweller refused to accept liability in any shape or form. I am absolutely disgusted. My watch that I have worn for years and really love is ruined. I can't look at it now due to the damage done to it. I have been a regular customer of theirs for years, but no more!
