Contacted Fix-A-Leak to repair a leaking bath drain. Within an hour of the call, Darren (I think) turned up and sorted it. Friendly, tidy and decent price - would recommend to anyone.
Our toilet soil pipe was leaking under the floorboards. Darren promptly returned our phone calls, and turned up when he said he would. He saw an awkward job through to completion, and did a nice and tidy repair.
My mum and dad hired this plumber to replace a sink in their bathroom. After getting a quote of 230/40 they agreed to go ahead. He turned up did 15 mins work then said he had to go and get all the stuff for the job. He returned 45 mins later and then proceeded with the job. But then spent more time on his phone and going outside talking than working. Half way through the job he told my mum. The job was gonna be 300 so she said no Im paying what you quoted so he packed his things up and walked out. 15 mins later he came back and finished the job and refused to give my mum a reciept and charged her 250. Yet another cow boy trying to rip off pensioners. People be aware.

We contacted Darren early on Monday morning, to see if he could remedy a previous 'plumbers' re-piping job (which was a DISASTER.) He called just after 2pm the same day, and said he could sort it all out "properly". Darren contacted his supplier for the valves we needed, and promised to come on Wednesday to do the job. He phoned on Tuesday evening to confirm he would be with us "just after 9am tomorrow". True to his word he arrived on time, and started working straight away with hardly a break, until it was all completed at 5.30pmWe will be replacing an old Combi boiler soon - Darren will be doing this for us.Anyone in the Garstang area looking for a good tradesman should contact Fix a Leak Ltd first.
