Best selection of real ales in Lancaster, good food, great location.... My favourite pub :)
Went for a meal this afternoon, nice location and great food at a reasonable price. The ale selection looked great, but it was dry January for me.. The food was brought out in good time and the venison haunch I had was cooked nicely. like that water was brought to the table without asking, good service. Will return.
Over the last 8 years we have only visited about 4-5 times, but we have never been disappointed with the food, beer, cider and service. Would recommend at any time.
Visited on new year's Day, we couldn't get in the restaurant but was served food in the bar area. Found the pub on Google just as a search and we were very pleased with our selection. Great food and atmosphere! Would definetly recommend the fish and chips
Our work Christmas meal was booked for 1830. The pub was very busy at that time but a good atmosphere on a Friday.. The 3 course meal was 23 and really worth it. There was attention to detail, great flavours and quality presentation. Staff were sttentive
