It has received a wee make over since my last visit. Tastefully done. Good selection of beer & welcoming staff.
Great wee cosy pub. A traditional old pub. Great barman. He remembered my drink each time I went to the bar, even though I had never been in this pub before. There was live music too most days..
This place always seems to have something on it is always active and lively. It is a bit on the cosy side (small). Some nights that's great, others not so much. Could be cleaner but lets be real it's a pub. Drinks are fairly priced. Good place to start.
Busy, but worth standing in a crowded bar. Good atmosphere. Good range of drinks, partic ales. Mulled wine not the best, weak and tangy, but great place for friendly, lively atmosphere when singers on. Been returning for years.
