We had a great afternoon, on Sat - with Brunch & bottomless fizz!!!! Food & Fizz, were wonderful & the staff were so attentive!!! Definitely worth a visit
Lovely looking place and comfy chairs. The mulled wine was good, but the food was just mediocre. I'd go there as a meeting place, but I'd eat elsewhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful though.

The rooms (some of them) are a bit shabby. Peeling wallpaper, broken window, tired carpet, old bathroom suite. The room 'smart phone' didn't work, the TV is tiny, the heating nonexistent despite putting it on max. Just a bit disappointing for the money. The bed was good however, staff lovely and the public areas have been renovated nicely.
Front of house looked bright and welcoming. I was in a single room which was ok for my needs but the room was quite shabby with peeling ceiling paint and unpainted wall repairs. Its an old listed building with tons of character and right in the middle of town so a great location for going out
