Sunday lunch was great, lots of seasonal veggies, delicious cauliflower cheese, and nice gravy. Too full for a pud!

Good food but bit pricey
Quite a mixed stay. Enjoyed sitting with drinks outside in the sun but the barmaid had a face to trip her! Food was good and the restaurant area really nice. Room was large but basic. Shower really weak. The main concern was lack of security. The windows are the old style single glazed type and the room was hot. We had them open and were on the ground floor so it was pretty easy for someone to climb in. One of them was missing its handle. The hotel backs onto a housing estate. Breakfast was cereal, juice and tea/coffee. There were various options on the menu for hot food and it was all really good. Overall we thought it was good for an overnight and worth looking at if in the area.
We had a lovely time. Staff was great, Rose was awesome assisted us with our unusual requests. Room clean and comfortable. Who knew sleeping in stabels could be such a treat. Thank you
