Very good choice of beers, very old, cosy and interesting bar. Recommended
Came here for a drink... And to hide from the rain. Found that is is an excellent pub. Friendly staff, decent amount of space (there is an upstairs) and the atmosphere was lively but relaxed.The drink selections were good, esp if your an ale fan. Well worth a stop!
This is one of my favourite pubs.. intimate. great staff and food. The choice of beers and wine is second to none well worth a visit
Great selection and like all prices shown on walls. Could do with a revise of furniture to create more ambience as a bit old meets new but the old pieces a bit dated and confusing style. Sorry as I work with interiors so visit anyway as cute find and inviting open bar entrance front
Very reasonably priced, especially on Monday and definitely for students too. Great staff that were more than happy to let us sample some of their wide selection of local beers. Quite a nice medieval tavern feel inside too
